Title: Spikes for Manfrotto befree carbon?
Post by: farbschlurf on December 28, 2018, 03:42:20 am
Hello,
Yesterday I was shooting a waterfall with my travel tripod and found out the rubber feet of the tripod are crap for rocky/ icy surfaces. It's the Manfrotto befree carbon original (not the most current model) which has tubes not round but with one flat side.
Anybody happens to know whether there are spikes one could attach instead of the rubber feet? DIY solution?
Thanks for suggestions

I found out the 11.6 mm diameter feet do fit the tripod well, maybe this is of help for somebody, sometime.
