I was capturing this view in Acadia National Park in Maine and while my girlfriend accidentally lit her headlamp ahead to my right about 30' on her cliff. You might feel differently and that's ok but I learned that night of the power of light in astrophotography.

I think the light on the cliff to your lower left, has actually added to the image, excellent shot..!

I couldn't agree more! I prefer not to create composites. Using light like this is fun and I wish I could say in this case it was planned but it was not.
I plan on returning to this location with a remote strobe and see what's possible.

Hi Dave, the shot is indeed beautiful and I agree with Dave from Skye that the accidental light was a very good happenstance!!
