Both shot at my local loch, which is a place I have spent many a happy hour with my camera over the last seven years.
You know I think you can only start to get shots like these, once you really get to know a place and its moods, as you can then begin to understand how the light can play across the scene, at different times of the day and at different times of year and under different weather and lighting conditions.
