Slowly...

Just rain, a red car, Havana:

What brand of car did you drive, Slobodan?

I didn't drive it, I was in the passenger seat. Buick, not sure the year (probably '50s) or model. Had pronounced tail wings.

I love those cars!
My neighbor, Karel, is the founder of a VW garage. His sons and grandsons are running the business now.
Karel is demented and each morning when I leave the house he stand on the garage gate to call his dog called Bora. When he see me, he always ask who I am and if I’m the new neighbor from next door. That kind of demented stadium.
But in the weekend, on special occasions, when he pulls out his ‘59 Cadillac Coupe de Ville........ arm out the window, brilliantine in his hair, he’s back in business ready to chase some chicks. No sign of dementia.
That’s what that car does for Karel.

Congrats, Slobodan!
It's nice to see an award go to someone who really is a good photographer, both technically and artistically.

The car, of course, is beautiful. Does he drive it on the street with his problems? You'd need a garage business to keep those things in good condition, even if a VW one.
Imagine naming your dog after a car, too.

Nice shot! Congratulations on the award.
I used to hate rainy days, but I grew to prefer them for pictures.

What a great shot. A world apart, and refreshing, take on the usual "old American car in Havana" subject.
