For me the B&W one gets the mood better, but they are both fine.

I prefer the B&W as well, but not by such a large margin. I'd like to see a little more sky and a little less foreground, though.

Thanks very much. The composition and the amount of foreground was as you can imagine by choice as to me this gives the special mood of the place. Not to say this is the only choice, of course :) Just mine.

Oh yes Hans! The color version is excellent, but the bw version enhances the role of the mist and wraps the whole image in mystique. I guess timeless is the word I am looking for.
