I came across this article/pictures on the BBC News site.  I feel this is an unusual and creative approach to photographing the Landscape in these areas.

I read that thread too. I'd certainly agree that it's unusual but I confess that I very much hope it remains so. IR in monochrome is interesting but IR and fake colour is something that really doesn't appeal. To me, anyway.
