Da Beat readily admits he's been toying with the idea of b&w as well but he a: likes the implication of the pinkish color and b: thinks the graphics aren't strong enough to merit b&w.

He also came dangerously close to cropping square to get rid of the distracting elements but you have to give him credit for resisting the temptation... ;-)

Madam, unhand him!

Personally I think the pink makes the shot, if not aesthetically then comically.
