These are actually extremely good and refreshingly different from the standard maximum telephoto crop (except #2). #1 is especially stunning. You may want to consider  editing the lot to B&W/Duotone or a more restricted colour palette. You may want to crop the bottom of #4 a bit to remove the car part.

This happens to me as well.

I still suggest that you should consider doing something about the colours. Not that the colours are wrong, quite on the contrary. That Hasselblad camera of yours has absolutely splendid colour rendition... just like the Hasselblad camera I have. I have actually never seen Tanzania that way.

But gorgeous colours are a different thing than consistent colours.

I'm very keen to learn more about getting the colours correct, for example the river crossing was so so special but when I look at the colours I dont recall the actual colours being like that.........I'm using PScc with ACR

Apparently, we don't quite understand each other. I can't help you with "correct colours". Actually, the camera you used already does a wonderful job with colours.

What I was suggesting was to try to find a way to get more consistency between the colours. That would mean less accurate colours, because nature never gives us consistent colours but changing colours. Yet, if you want to publish these pictures in an exhibition or in a book, it would help to get more unity between the pictures, wouldn't it?

Got it......the truth of the matter like you mentioned is that the light in Tanzania changes dramatically durning the first and last few hours of daily light.........and yes the H6D does handle everything perfectly.

Neil

The first and last hours of the day are tough on color conversion.  Just out of curiosity did you use a gray card (or even better a CC24 passport)?

Jack no I did not, I actually find ACR does a pretty good job in correcting the white balance

Hopefully in a nice way.........I am a long time Leica shooter, but since shooting Hasselblad I am too amazed at the beautiful depth of colour
