Title: Cannot turn off crop - crops all images even when I reset crop tool

deleted: it wasn't the crop tool - it was the distortion correction tool. I had it on in the older images, but completely turned it off in all new work.

It could be the automatic Lens Correction. Set the lens profile to Generic and see whether that helps.
