Actually (I didn't ask) my impression was that those kids were all locals.
At least the Vancouver waterfront isn't overrun yet with tourists on Segways. Along the National Mall in Washington, D.C., drivers and pedestrians alike increasingly need to dodge the summer swarms of shaky Segway renters.
