I use StatCounter site to monitor visits to my own site. Lately, I am getting hits from Romania, the same guy, who apparently starts the visit from one of my images and ends the visit with just one more image. Same images every time. 26 visits so far, seven in just the last two days, all identical.
The green line indicates source page, the black destination. For instance, when someone clicks on my signature here on LuLa, the green line would indicate LuLa forum topic as the source.
Is that some sort of bot? Any other explanation? And why? I can imagine that he perhaps bookmarked one of my images (the green line), but why then go to the same picture after that all the time!? Btw, neither source, nor destination image make any sense to visit so frequently either.

Maybe, I do not know, but I would first like to understand why.

I'm wary of my stats. Weird things do come up, especially stuff from the eastern hemisphere.

One of the more experienced hands may be able to give you a clue.
i would guess that the site is being probed for vulnerabilities - perhaps some stenography in one of the images if they can get into admin rights and use for hosting some nefarious download ?

If you see repeated visits, I'd suspect a bot.
On my Fineartamerica site, I get them constantly - from New York, Beverly Hills, Moscow, Kiev, and occasionally from other countries.

Our forum and site gets hit all the time. My sister's large company just got Ransomware. Shut and locked everything down. Based on some feedback we now added extra security on the Forum side of LuLa. We get hit with bots all the time, sometimes these would be more spammers than anything else. As you know to join the forum it takes a human and even then some determined ones get through.
Talk to your provider and website host to get help on this. It will drive you crazy if you try to lock all of them out.
