From Odemira towards Monchique, the second highest mountain in continental Portugal (900m). I was waiting for the Moon to rise during the eclipse, and noticed the typical landscape of interior Alentejo and transition to Algarve. Felt very quiet.
I am posting this one because for the last 6 days, Monchique is been devastated by forest fires... seems like the authorities have not learned anything from the killer fires of 2017...

Is the hazy sky normal in summer or is it because of the huge forrest fires?

Normal in the summer, and this was before the fires. Even after sunset, which was the case, the sky was hazy.

Thanks for the info… Does smoke (from forrest fires) affect the sky now?
