Nice. We also have a touron problem. I think it's getting chronic!

“Tourist jailed for collecting seashells on Florida beach”

Kind of a misleading headline. She was actually collecting the animals AND their shells which is different, even if she didn't realize it. Had she been only collecting shells, she wouldn't have gotten into any trouble.

Our problems lately are bad visitors pooping all over the place and driving ATVs and those new Razor buggies up and down pristine headwaters of our waterways. They also usually claim ignorance but that generally doesn't hold up in court.

In Ontario and British Columbia provincial parks (and possibly also in other provinces), it is forbidden to pick wild mushrooms.

Leave only footprints, and take only pictures. I couldn't NOT take this unfortunate leaving.

That’s very forbidden here in Belgium as well. Because peoples don’t know what’s eatable and what is poisoned.
Some eat them for the hallucinating property of the mushroom.
Tell that to our Polish friends. 🤪🤪🤪
They lick the mushroom. If it prickle the tongue it is no good.

Asshats that let helium balloons go need to have them wrapped around their necks and trapped in some brush for a week or two.

Yes, keep in mind that in Everglades though (and probably in most national parks) it is illegal to collect any shells.
