Title: Re: Capture Sharpening for non AA filter sensor cameras
Post by: Box Brownie on July 29, 2018, 08:38:49 am
Hi All

I am getting the Olympus E-M1 MK2 and this does not use an AA filter.

Now I am mostly content with my Capture Sharpening in LR6 with my Canon files (AA filter present) but are there any advised baseline settings in LR for the Olympus that I should be aware of???

TIA :)

Not sure if this will help you or not but I have shot with a
Non AA  5dsr and have not noticed any special changes I had to make for Cap sharpening, probably using slightly lower settings in LR would be all.
On a side note about non AA sensors; I’ve only had ONE moire issue with a curtain on the first job I did with the 5dsr - no problems since. I’ve been shooting with the 5dsr for a couple year now.

Hope this does help some!
