Hi,
This year I was fortunate enough to be in the Dolomites to make a shot I wanted to do for many years:

Later that evening I got another shot:

I am extremely happy with both those captures. At the same time, I do have some issues with colour management on my platform, most web browsers ignore my calibration data for my screen, shame on you Google and Microsoft! You really stink!!
Best regards
Erik

Yes, you can be happy with those two photos. The first one is spectacular with the warm light reflecting on the walls and the welcome clouds. The second one is also superb. The mountain hut is barely visible and blends perfectly in the landscape. Processing (both shots) is excellent and I experience no "weird" color issue in Safari, unless I'm missing something.

Very Nice.
No problems for me for the colors on Windows 10 even with my old screen.
Are those peaks "Tre cime di Lavaredo"?!
Have a Nice Day.

Both are first class, Erik.

Hi,
Thanks for comments! Yes, the peaks are Tre Cime de Laveredo, but I know them as Drei Zinnen as I am mostly traveling in the north where german is the dominant language.
The problems with monitor calibration arise with wide gamut screens. Some web browsers ignore monitor profiles.

This one was shot while I was waiting for the sunset. Three nice men walked by, I think they came from Bavaria.

I like the light in #1, but feel that the composition is too tight on the left?
-
Hi Paulo,
Thanks for the input! Hopefully I keep it mind next time I get there!
I actually shot a lot of pictures, but never left much "air" on the left.
Best regards
Erik

Lovely images. At first I was also thinking some would benefit from some more space around the rock, but I'm not sure anymore. The more or less filled frame probably shows how huge those are.

Thanks a lot!

Well done Erik and nice to see some images from your trip. Also it was nice to say hello to you in hotel Adler while I was there. :)

Nice to meet you again.
A couple years ago we bumped into each other at the Dreizinnenblick hotel. That was a real surprize.
Nice to meet Werner, too!
Best regards
Erik
