Having a hard time deciding how much I like this one.

I can see that you tried to capture the rhythm and movement of light, but I don't think you quite made it. The light areas are bottom heavy and prevent rhythm. And dark areas are large and visually uninteresting. If you really like it,, just my personal take, I would crop at bottom of bare tree.

Yeah, with another day under my belt it looks less interesting. The contrast of the two brightly lit dead trees and the almost glowing live conifers against the otherwise dark background where the sun hadn't hit was what drew my interest. But I've played with it a lot, and no treatment seems to yield a satisfying result. I think I'll let it go now.

I like what you are going for and it might be worth pursuing again if the opportunity presents itself.

A misty/foggy morning here might be really nice too!
