I'm thinking of using the above on some of my Voitlander & Leica lenses with my Canon 5DII
Any thoughts on their quality, performance,& impressions?
Thanks,

I have converted 2 Leica R lenses to Nikon F mound myself using Leitax adapters and they have been working very well.
Cheers,

They are very good if you want a to permanently adapt your lenses but if you want to share an adaptor between lenses and swop them in the field then look elsewhere.

Leitax adapters work fine for me. Converted two Leica Elmarit R lenses to Nikon-F.

I have converted a Contax lens to Canon EF mount, and I am very happy with that conversion.
But all conversions are not easy, there may be pitfalls. You can consider sending your lens to Leitax so they do nthe modifications.
With the Contax/Yashica mount, the Leitax adapter is mounted piggyback on the original mount. You would reuse the original screws. Unfortunately I damaged the screwheads on the original screws on the first lens but lens #2 worked just fine.
So, check the instructions and than decide...
Best regards
Erik
