I suppose that this is a variation on the "large rock in the foreground" genre. A chocolate box image taken on a recent cycling trip to Germany and Austria. This is Barmsee in Bavaria, Germany.

Your "large rock" is prettier than most.
Nice scene.

Very pretty. Nice light, too.

A beauty Ken! Well handled extremes.

Very nice image with unusual combination of the individual elements.

This is an example of what I'd love to see more of in this forum. Shot is excellent, processing is spot on, composition is excellent. Class act sir!

But wait... where is the rock? ;)

Good example of a good photo without golden light.

Pretty scene.
Nicely processed without any excess.

Thanks for the positive comments. I have barely touched the file as it really didn't need much, just a little highlight recovery in the clouds and a slight brightening in the foreground. This was taken about 90 minutes before sunset so the light was starting to warm up but only a little. The rock was under the water Slobodan. The day started cold with low clouds and heavy rain but as the front passed I was left with lovely clear air which helped produce the image. Ken

A first glance at the thumbnail, the image is very tropical in feel, pallet and quality of light... That shows how value and color create the feel of an image.
