Interesting tonality. I sure it's intended to be like that. Wonder what others think of it and what was your intention ...

The photo is a little flat. I know showing small versions on line require extra contrast but as I don’t like drama in a photograph, I tend to be conservative when increasing contrast. Having said that, the light was diffused so there was a wonderful tonality that held the scene seamlessly. We don’t often get to see that in the Southwest.

Nice landscape… it shows a true depiction of the desert in "normal" light. It takes a bit more effort to appreciate than with dramatic lighting conditions, though.

Thanks Francois.

Well, it is not surprising that much of our photography(and art) is dictated by popular tastes. Harmless if not taken seriously.

I really like the processing. Sometimee scenes are flat. Sometimes they don’t have masses of saturation. Don’t know why we have to make colour neutral all the time and get normal contrast and saturation.

Agree.

This looks like the (lack of) contrast we have here on high summer days. It is what it is. Good scene.

I really like it, Omer, but it makes me want to find my canteen.
