Title: June skies

#1 is a cold front shot from my back yard.
#2 is one of many abandoned rail lines connecting abandoned towns. Now we have cars.
#3 explores the landscape diversity of the region.

Three great shots. My favorites are #1 that shows this incredibly wide landscape and #3 for the spectacular light "curtain".

All three are lovely!

No fair though hogging all the interesting weather! So far this year for us it has been either bluebird clear or slate grey, nothing in between...

I'm wondering what caused the light band above the horizontal cloud in #1. Upward virga?

Can't look at these shots and not embrace the beauty of the Great Plains.
