Title: NEC Spectraview II - Does it still work on High Sierra?
Post by: The View on June 16, 2018, 05:19:59 pm
I upgraded to High Sierra - and now I'm getting at the message "This software is not optimized for your Mac" when I start up Spectraview II.

Do you use Spectraview II on High Sierra without a problem, or did you move towards a different profiling software?

Runs fine but will need an update for next major OS.

Thanks Andrew.

Can you please check out my other thread - trying to set up color management (LUT based) for DaVinci Resolve without messing up my Photoshop/Capture One Pro Calibration.

Don't know anything about DaVinci, sorry.
As for the warning, you'll see this with every new application installed that isn't 64bit as the next major OS will no longer run 32 bit applications. I have no doubt NEC will update the software before then; we have a bit of time. But you'll likely see this message more and more as you update applications.
