I was a long time user of Image Verifier, (www.basepath.com) for longterm checksumming and detection of possible degradation of my 18yr's worth of personal images.
Unfortunately the developer has retired - does anyone have any good alternatives for robust image verification - image verifier would generate and compare checksum's for you as well as test open RAW files via Adobe DNG Converter - so it had a pretty good workflow ?
Any help appreciated.
Thx

ImageVerifier from Marc Rochkind still works for me under OS X. I do see the web site is DOA.
If you work with DNG, Lightroom provides similar functionality.
