Title: Sometimes the Kids Aren't Alright
Post by: GreggP on May 23, 2018, 09:45:20 pm
Here's one of my early street photos that finally showed more than just people on the street. I think there's a story here. At least there's some emotion in this encounter. Like Portland, during the warmer months, Madison, WI, attracts quite a few transient, homeless people. They form a community, most likely a bit temporary and these two guys definitely knew each other pretty well because the taller guy was demanding money that was owed to him by the shorter guy.

I just noticed that I took this photo in December, so these are probably guys that spend more than just the warm months here.

Don't believe them: City Hall pays for the entertainment; lends the town a certain frisson designed to excite the wandering tourist looking for the imaginary excitement of a Chinese dinner.
