Title: A Glass of Wine
Post by: RSL on May 14, 2018, 02:38:02 pm
Here's one from nine years ago. I'm posting it for a couple reasons. First, I like it. But second, to me it's an example of a street shot that's definitely better in color than in B&W. When I do a B&W conversion it pretty much dies.

Nice photograph. I’ve run into this difficulty a few times, subtle colors seem to resist the conversion. Or maybe the quiet character of the photo is incompatible with the usual higher contrast of B&W.

Her body language suggests she isn't thrilled with her companion. ...a sly move on your part Russ, titling the picture "A Wine Glass."
