Title: ? for Michael
Post by: dabreeze on October 05, 2006, 07:40:34 pm
Michael,

I have a client in Toronto who is purchasing a large giclee canvas print. Because shipping an already stretched canvas this size (approx. 36x60) would be costly, I have suggested that a rolled canvas to be stretched and tacked at his end would be much more economical.

Could you recommend a framing establishment in Toronto that can handle this type of job?

Many thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer.

Looking forward to the new Video Journal!!

Sorry, but I don't have first hand experience with anyone who handles that size.

Derek

I'm in Montreal and not Toronto but a quick search for 'canvas stretching in toronto'
on Google yields quite a few hits.

Of not,in the early results are www.torontoimageworks.com and vistek.ca that both offer
digital printing services and canvas stretching options.

If they can't do the piece for your client then they should at least be able to offer leads as
to who can.

Thanks Michael & Mark for your prompt replies. It's a good start (google search results) and will probably yield what I need. Again, thanks . . .

Toronto Image Works will likely do a pretty good job for you, I've seen a fair bit of their work (having done IT support for them in the past) and everything I've seen was done very well.
