Title: Borrowdale Trees again
Post by: KMRennie on May 07, 2018, 04:19:08 pm
I have been trying to photograph this stand of birch trees for years. The varied colours of the new leaves have started to change to a more homogeneous green and in another week photographing trees here will all be a much duller experience, time for seascapes perhaps. Ken

Lovely image Ken! I really like the gentle curve of the hillside/trees. Great stuff!

Everything is just right in this image; light, framing, colors, etc...
Bravo!

Wonderful image.  Another shot that would look great as a large print.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I do like the shots but after a recent walk I have found a better viewpoint that is twice as close and should produce even more backlighting to the leaves at the risk of increased flare. Just something else to overcome. Off to France for a week of seascapes and wine so should be boring you with them soon. Ken
