Title: Charging Canon and Sony Camera Batteries in Iceland
Post by: John Hollenberg on April 29, 2018, 08:31:35 pm
I am going to Iceland in mid-June, getting everything ready.  Will I be able to use my Canon 5DSr and Sony A7r2 chargers with just an adapter, or will I need a converter?

Thanks.

Quick internet search ,here for instance, (https://www.tripsavvy.com/type-of-electrical-outlet-used-in-iceland-1626345) shows Iceland to use same standard as most of Europe.  As suggested in that link just check the electrical safety plate on your chargers and make sure they say Input:100V-240V~50Hz/60Hz.  You will need an adapter to plug into the European style socket but these can be bought at the airport cheaply.
