Just back from a wonderful trip in California and I got suckered into some landscapes.

This was a short 40 mile stretch of road from Carmel Valley to Highway 101 which the guys at the bar recommended and it was a wonderful drive. I am a crappy landscape photographer but California seems to have so many varied opportunities I think I could happily spend time trying and probably failing. Pretty sure I'd fun trying and meeting locals.

You enjoyed yourself and I for one think it really shows in this shot.
And when it really comes down to it, does anything else really matter?
I am a crappy landscape photographer...
No you're not.

Dave that's right - I did enjoy myself and I wanted to share that joy but the landscape did all the work :) Compared to many here I'm just not committed enough nor skilled enough. But hooray for CA it has reinvigorated my interest in landscape.
