The beehive huts and walls on Skellig Michael built by early Christian Monks are a sight to behold. Their forms are sympathetic to the natural rock formations on the island. They sit majestically on Skellig Rock. You can’t but sit back and take in the view back to the Kerry mainland and Little Skellig. It is hard to believe that they are over 1500 years old!
Captured with my Phase One IQ3100 on an Arca Swiss RL3Di and a 32mm Rodenstock

Great shot of a remarkable place!

Good one. I wonder if it would be possible to shoot the same side of the island without being in the shade?

Nice image.
I also heard there are walruses on that isle that have a greenish milk that is just to die for.

Congrats for this image. Landscape and man-made features work so well. This place has some magic.
