Winter finally comes to Yosemite.
-
Very nice images and the type I was hoping to get there this time last month.
-
Excellent shots, and the color is nice.
For many years I thought Yosemite existed only in black-and-white, thanks to Ansel. ;)
-
Nice shots.

Both are lovely but for me, the light on the front of the Chapel makes the shot!!

I love the first with El Cap looking on...

That is Half Dome, not El Capitan.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Weird thing is winter didn't start this year in California until March and it looks like it will continue into April. :)
-
The second one is a beauty, something different from Yosemite.
-
What a wonderful duo.
-
Two tremendous images. Ken

I think the first one looks really cool, in so many ways :)

Thanks again to all for your kind words. :)

Two great shots but… is it my monitor or my eyes, but (at least for the first image) there's a very slight greenish tint.

And now about a week later, Yosemite Valley had about 3 inches of rain yesterday. Valley was closed and large areas were flooded as happens every few years.

I like the one of Cook's Meadow which I hear has become Cook's Lake. It was pretty impressive here in El Portal with all that water.
