Title: Epson 3880 - one quarter of one sheet of paper won't print
Post by: David Edge on March 21, 2018, 10:33:16 am
I'm puzzled

I printed two tests in the upper half of a sheet of A4, from Affinity Designer on a Mac fwiw. I then ran the sheet through a second time with two more tests, bottom left and bottom right. Only bottom left printed. I've created a new document in case the original files was corrupt in some way, recreated the TIFF, all to no avail. However I can print that image in the bottom left quadrant of a new sheet of paper and indeed I've run a sheet through and printed the image in the TL and BR quadrants successfully and then redone it printing in the TR and BL quadrants. The problem sheet of paper fwiw is a 300g matt cotton rag.

So what is the printer taking offence at with that sheet of paper? It feeds ok from the rear feed.

Yes the answer is to bin the sheep pf paper - but curious to know what's going on!
