Title: Butterfly, Kuala Lumpur
Post by: shadowblade on March 13, 2018, 10:02:53 am
Butterfly drinking nectar from a flower in Kuala Lumpur. Would be helpful if someone could identify the species.

The Sony 100-400 GM makes for a very useful macro lens, particularly with skittish insects where you can't, or don't want to, get close enough to use a macro lens with a more typical focal length.

A7r3 with 100-400 GM @ 400mm f/5.6. 1/1000s, ISO 640, pushed two stops.

Very nicely done on a tough subject!
