Your comment is just what I hoped someone would say.
Keeping the image as soft and quiet as possible seems to me the respectful way to represent the little village.

It's not far from a B&W image… It has this timeless atmosphere that suits the place perfectly.

When I photograph this little island that's disappearing beneath the water I feel it's my obligation to be as respectful and fair as I know how.
