Very interesting. I can live with the sensors we have now, but what could be achieved with this technology seems amazing.

I'd have to believe the 'perfect' sensor follows the Luther Ives condition. Does this?

Eric's research on this kind of sensor doesn't speak to the CFA or the total system spectral responses. That's left as an exercise for the interested student.
