I forgot, was it the crocodiles where you could see their teeth if you got close enough (some might say too close) vs the alligators where you don't?

While there are some crocs in south FL, we have none up here in N. FL. Thus I can only conclude that your statement is incorrect as I see gator's teeth all the time. Thanks be to the miracle of modern lenses that make it look like I had just finished scratching one behind its left ear, then casually walked away...
Attached is what he will likely grow up to be at some point in his life. The second, though not as clear is one who is known to the local population simply as "Goliath," who is touted to be well over 14 feet long and weigh in upward of 1,100 lbs. (500 kilos, give or take.)
