Title: C1 11 Print - interface doesn't retain selections
Post by: jeremyrh on January 22, 2018, 10:37:30 am
Or less cryptically:

I select Print. I change the units from in to mm. I make any one of a number of other changes, such as saving as a user template etc. the units change back from mm to in.

Annoying.

Aha,
Not just me!
I reported this one, which they acknowledged is a bug, and also some others with regard to colour management settings in printing not being retained.
Great software, but printing needs a bit of work still.
Cheers,
Phil

I had somewhat similar issues printing from C1 in Windows on an Epson 9890.  Finally worked through it with C1 support.  I had to create a custom profile in the Windows Epson driver rather than checking the user defined size option.  I was setting the user defined settings at 18x24 but when I would go back to the C1 print module it would default to 8.5x11.  By creating an 18x24 size in the Windows driver that works.

I love Capture One Pro since switching from LR over 2 years ago. That said, the LR print module is excellent and offers many of the features of an expensive RIP program like ImagePrint.

I hope that Capture One improves the print capabilities now that they have DAM fully implemented.
