I have been reading here and there on some sensor enthusiast websites presenting their camera sensor analysis and interpretation with the help of DXO sensor database. I still haven't figured out how to get those data (measured sensor characteristics). Does DXO sell this database or? I would appreciate if anyone could help me on this.

Hi Emmett,
I don't know if there are other ways to get the data from DxO, but I have DxO's PhotoLab Elite, and any time I bring up a picture for processing, if the info from the database for that camera/lens combination hasn't been downloaded to my computer, PhotoLab will download it at that point. It's really good stuff, especially their advanced noise reduction software.

Yes you can, Emmett. PhotoLab lets you select a huge number of optics modules and download them. You have to remember though that the modules are for camera / lens combinations. There's a different module for my D800 with an 85mm f/1.8 lens and the same camera with a 70-200mm f/4 lens.

Emmett, it seems that you are gravely confused - why in the world you need the sensor measurements that DxO visualize on DxOMark website in some manner above & beyond what you can see there ( or use sites like www.photonstophotos.net which provides a more detailed measurements ready for hoi polloi and learned folks consumption ) ?
and if you actually mean something that DxO measures that you can use in raw conversion then it is available for you through DxO raw converter (lens profiles, embedded camera profiles, etc) ... just like RSL suggested - but it is not a database of sensor "measurements" that Emmett ref'd to in this original posting.

That's correct. It's a measurement of the performance of the camera and lens combination -- everything.

Hello DP, Thanks for your message, I already know about the link you mentioned, Bill has done a fantastic job on sensor dataset, his sensor data is very valuable as they are lens independant. I am looking at the data from a different angle which is interesting and will hopefully present it for you people.
