Title: Final bubbles of 2017
Post by: MattBurt on January 02, 2018, 04:15:24 pm: I took this on the 30th. Building on my previous attempts I added a green gelled off-camera speedlight and fired it once on each side (L/R) of the camera to get the glow during the exposure (30s).

Thank you both! I'm getting a 20x30 metal print of this one. I think the metal will really help it glow.

Thanks everyone! I was pretty pleased with the result too. We are supposed to finally get some more snow this weekend so the bubbles may be going away for a while until some new sections of lake freeze over. Right after I sharpened my skates!
