Taken 30 minutes after my last image (First Light, Snowdonia, UK) and the weather had completely changed as clouds swept in over the peak of Snowdon (the highest mountain in England and Wales) carrying with them the look of snow. Within a minute of capturing this image the snow arrived and I quickly beat a retreat to stand behind the lake’s pump house for shelter, and waited for the weather to pass. After an hour I decided to call it a day and headed back down to the car and a flask of soup to warm me up!

Very good.

Agreed: both very fine images. I especially like the contrasting hues of the sky and land in this one.

It's a lovely image. You earned the soup!
