Hi Russ,
Childhood, as exactly it should be...great shot
Peter

Thanks, Peter. He's a great-grandson.

Briliant! Well seen and captured, Russ.

Beautiful, Russ!

Excellent. Peter said it best- an unstaged childhood moment.

Thanks guys. It's a boost to get compliments from people whose work you respect.

I sense a color version somewhere in there, Russ. Unless you were using the Monochrom 😊
-
You're right, Slobodan. No Monochrom. I gave up on Leica a while back. Here's the color version. I saw it mainly as an exercise in graphics, but the red hair. . . well. . .
-
It Maybe because I have seen the B&W first, that the color seems more of snapshot.
The B&W is timeless...

A great "street" example, come to think of it...

Yeah, I prefer the B&W too. That's the way I saw it when I framed it.
-
Beaut! Why did you crop the shadow? (just kiddin')
-
The black and white is a sheet cake, the color version is a frosted and decorated sheet cake.
I think the graphics are strong enough to stand with the colors.
I say "Bravo" Russ, lovely shot.
