Title: Color Navigator on Eizo CG 222 and 243
Post by: macz5024 on November 28, 2017, 02:42:04 am
Since MacOS 10.12.6 - and now also under 10.13.1 - I am seeing problems when trying to calibrate two different Eizo CG 222 and also one CG 243 (connected via DVI cable to MacMinis). Color Navigator either crashes at the end of the calibration process (usually with the 243 and sometimes also with a 223) - or I get completely weird colors on the CG 222 (green and purple instead of grey) when Color Navigator is measuring the greyscale axis. This leads to a situation that the monitor can only be "rescued" by unplugging the power cable.
Does anybody see the same problems? Color Navigator has not been update for quite a while now. The only hope is that they are working on a solution and come out with it soon. - Or do they declare these screens as outdated?
Eizo (Switzerland) support so far was not able to help me.

I had similar problem recently on a 243 when updated to 10.11.6, calibrating with i1Pro rev D. Couldn't get ColorNavigator to play nicely, and wasn't wild about the output from i1Profiler.

Got a beautiful result using Basiccolor Display.
