It's a No Entry place but there's no sentry - they just want to prevent sues in the case someone got hurt.
(Both the panorama and the single shot taken with a 36mm focal length lens.)

Thanks guys! I was really lucky with the light - it was like 10 minutes of sun in these dull grey days.

I really like the first one and the deep blueness of it, but for me I would have loved if there was a little bit more headroom above the rocky sides of the quarry and the sky, as it feels a little cramped up there to me.
I also do lots of pano shots and this is something I often have to remind myself to do, is to zoom out a little more than I think I need to, so I give it plenty of space and enough room above and below, so that the files can be stitched together in a way that I can line them up and then crop them horizontally straight if I need to.

Thanks, Dave. With that 36mm focal length (I didn't have anything wider with me), the single row of portraits wasn't probably enough. I should've probably taken two rows.
Btw. The Isle of Skye is a wonderful place! I've visited it in May this year and was extremely lucky with sunny weather! (We walked the Skye Trail and also spent some time in Fairy Glenn.)

Yes we do gets some amazing weather up here, both amazingly good and amazingly bad and sometimes all within a few minutes of each other ;)
But unfortunately, we seem to be going through a protracted stint of the bad stuff at the moment and the old trigger finger is really starting to itch quite badly :)
