I help run the Scottish Lute Society, and occasionally take photos of the members. This particular week I was late, so grabbed the first camera I could see, which happened to be an old Canon Powershot G10, which I hadn't used for ten years or so. When I realised what I'd brought, I doubted it had any battery life, but it did. I tried a few deliberate wobbles while shooting, as I've occasionally had a little success in doing so. I like the way this one turned out. I'd be interested in your thoughts. The player's name is Chris, and here he is wrapped in music. (https://flic.kr/p/DEbPJm)

I think it’s terrific. Playing a stringed instrument is all about motion.

Very effective and expressive.

Excellent! Motion and e-motion, can't beat it.

+1 to all of the above. It could use a little more space on the left, but the expressiveness can withstand that imperfection. The bottom could be a whole lot darker (or even cropped) so the shape doesn't remind one of a beerbelly.

Cheers, folks. Love the beer belly comment! I never registered it. We don't want too much wobble there!

Very good picture. Got something cubistic or rather futuristic - or just reminds me.

Thanks, farbschlurf. A bit of Bacon, even.
