Just north of Bishop CA, we stopped to take a short break from driving. The east side of the Sierra Nevada is quite stark and beautiful in its desolation.

Fantastic.  One of the most scenic areas in North America.  Well seen, perfectly executed. Wish I'd shot it.

Very good work. But indeed there is something odd, the ground is bluish, and the clouds are yellowish.

Looking at this photo makes me want to put my backpack on and go! Some of the most beautiful country on the face of the earth are back among those peaks.
