Title: Focus stacking with LR and Photoshop on separate machines.
Post by: NigelC on October 20, 2017, 08:44:01 am
When I bought an Imac a while back, the only low cost way of changing platform was to upgrade the LR4 on my PC laptop to LR6. I was not able to port CS5 across as it's too old. Therefore, I now have LR 6 on a Mac and CS5 on a PC. (and no I don't plan to get an Adobe subscription)

If I want to merge several landscape images with different focus points, and I've processed them in an identical way in LR (on the mac), can I them save them to some portable media and then open them up in CS5 on my (PC) laptop and proceed to merge them in Photoshop, or would that not work?
