too much "noise" from the sunlit grass - it detracts from the high key flowers. Maybe just the one in the shade or some other way to tone down the grass.

I agree with Degrub.

If you have PhotoShop, you could use the Burn tool with a largeish, fuzzy brush  set to burn just the highlights, maybe about 15 or 20% at a time, and run that around the sunlit grass being careful to avoid the flowers. With care, that would soften the grass and let the flowers stand out more.

I think if you crop the photo differently and do some work in post, you'll have a stronger image.  I like the content.

Just a quick note to thank Eric, degrub, and BobDavid for taking the time to comment. All good input and I am going to work on it this weekend. -just didn't want you to think I did not appreciate the comments or think I was not going to work with them...
