You are asking for a rare combination , 6.5K in gear.  Bernard is the best person to try, as I believe he has the 19mm and I know he has the D850, you might PM him.

I am considering the 19mm, for next year, and if my D850 ever does ship, I hope to combine the two.

I put the 45mm PCE on a D850 and took a couple of quick shots. It works.

What I was wondering about was the utility of using focus peaking when tilting, but I was just playing. Frankly, I use shift much more than tilt, so I wasn't trying to do any rigorous testing.

The D850 and 19mm T/S work well together per my initial tests.

"You are asking for a rare combination "

maybe, but it looks like the best bang for the bucks kit for architectural photographer...

it's so cheap and handy compare to an Arca RM3D or Alpa or Cambo... and a Phase one or leaf back !

i think, i will go for it !

Thanks !

I think the 19mm PCE costs a lot, but its worth the money.
I had the lens on test for a week - you can see the results in the 19mm thread here.

For an extreme wide angle it is an almost boring perfect lens.

I don't have a D850 yet, but use all the PCE lenses on a D810.

The 19 still has some distortion, so the movement tab in Capture 1 is very helpful.  It's a bit cooler color-wise than the older PCEs.  Overall, it has a great look to it - great color, contrast and very sharp.  Filters are an issue, I still need to get a polarizer.

Going back & forth between the new & old style of PCE controls keeps you on your toes: the rotation locks are in different places, and worm-drive vs rack & pinion shift is different.

Looks like the D850 will have less interference between the prism & 24PCE.

Bernard, Can the Nikon 19 PC E be used with a 1.4 extender ?

You have to file off a tab in the lens mount of the TC, then it works fine.  The FL/aperture is not updated in EXIF though as it is with supported lenses.
