I dunno - wasted way too much time on this imperfect focus stack - but I liked the flowers. I just can't capture them quite right perhaps...

I like this one very much, because of the flowers of course, but also the background.

I don't know how much time you spent, of course, but I wouldn't describe it as wasted.

Nothing wrong with this shot.
Why not leave the image alone for a month or two and then come back to it and see how you like it then, you might be surprised just how good it looks to you when you do.
I used to tell my workshoppers, when you have spent several days with me going to all of what I think are the best places for photography, then when you get home and you immediately begin to review all your images, you will be looking at them through the warm glow of what you remember of your trip and they will probably not live up to what you remember, but if you leave them alone for a while and give the warm memory glow a chance to die down a little, you will be surprised at just how good they really are.

Wonderful backlight.

I don't think that you wasted a single second here with this shot.
It is a beauty.

Yes, flowers in context are a challenge. This works very well.

Good shooting, Dog. I know those clouds are formed by upper winds, but the long one sure looks like a contrail breaking up.
