Title: Water vs. Rock - Black and White
Post by: John Cothron on September 23, 2017, 10:03:18 am
Sometimes I look back over my archives.  I have many images that I captured, but do nothing with for long periods of time.  Sometimes I'm not sure at the time exactly what grabbed my attention, or have resolved the  feelings the scene gave me.  I ran across this one the other day in my archives, and the battle of water vs. rock came to me as what this image conveys.  We all know what will eventually happen, although in this case I think that is a point very far into the future.

Definitely worth revisiting. I'm enjoying the contrast of curves and angles in the rock. Beautiful.

I like the soft, but not too soft gradient in the water.

Lovely. I suspect the rock has a few centuries left.
