Title: Third party plug-ins in Photoshop CC2017? With special regard to Pixel Genius
Post by: Ellis Vener on September 19, 2017, 07:43:56 pm
Sorry if this has been hashed out before.

I have checked and the PG Sharpeners module seems to be in the right location to be accessed by the Adobe Photoshop CC 2017.app (Applications > Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 > Plug-ins) but when I go to the File > Automate sub-menu in PsCC2017 it isn't there.

For that matter neither are some other  third plug-ins I use.

What am I doing wrong?

OS X 10.12.6

Working on this end, same configuration. Time to delete preferences again?

Did you restart Photoshop after installing?

So, exactly what is located exactly where?

Is the "PG Toolbox Plug-in Module" located in the "Plug-ins" inside of the main enclosing "Adobe Photoshop CC 2017"

Inside of the PG Toolbox Plug-in Module what is there?

There should be a variety of components:
PG Toolbox Previewer.plugin
PG-Processor.plugin
PixelGenius Toolbox.plugin
pks_help folder

and depending on the products you've got:
PhotoKit 2.plugin
PhotoKit Sharpener 2.plugin

and if you have PhotoKit Color:
PhotoKit Color 2.plugin
PKC-Curves.plugin
PKC-Filter.plugin

If there is any question, the best bet is to download the original installers from the PG web site and do fresh installs.
